Distortion, acoustic feedbacks, background noises, clicks and buzzes of unsynchronized digital devices are often synonymous with sonic dirt, filth, and garbage. These signals and processes are important elements in Pure’s electronic compositions. He uses them to sculpt abstract sonic stories from evolving textures, pulsating repetitions and dynamic breaks that equally affect the listener’s brains and bodies.
